In the Living Room
Today has been a busy day for me. When I woke up at 8:27 a.m. I had to get moving because this is really late for me. I had to make my mother's breakfast which is always easy because she mostly gets Cream of Wheat. After that I had to take my son to school; he is a sophomore in college and he commutes which saves us a ton of money. After I dropped my son off at school I had to give my mother a bath. Then I proceeded to make a tuna salad for tonight's dinner. Right after I boiled the macaroni for the tuna salad, I left to go and get my son from school. Here's a picture of my macaroni and tuna salad. I use a lot of ingredients in my salad which includes: solid white tuna fish; elbow macaroni; celery and celery seeds; onions; garlic and onion powders; old bay seasoning; a dash of white vinegar; a dash of shire sauce; Hellman's mayo and a dash of sugar; red pepper seeds and a pinch of parsley. Talk about delicious!!! Yummmmmmmmm
And now, I'm writing this post and will be working on my design business this afternoon. I"m trying to come up with new marketing strategies, but I do believe that old-fashioned marketing is probably one of the best ways to promote and grow all of my businesses, but that doesn't mean that I stop thinking outside of the box. I love implementing new ideas into my business. Whenever I discover something different or perhaps unique, something no one has ever thought of before, I try it and if it works I use it.
As I always say I simply love designing and I adore writing. They are my passion and the two seem to go hand-in-hand complimenting each other if that makes sense. I love to give my stories and poems a purpose which is to encourage and bless other women and I create my designs to help others to display their faith in their homes and if it's in their homes their faith can also be found in their hearts and if it's in their hearts it blankets and warms their lives.
All this week I plan on completing all the short stories that I've started. What will you be doing this week? Are you starting a business or perhaps building a website or just pondering your next move in terms of work from home. I know that there are hundreds of thousands of businesses out here, but that doesn't mean that you can't start and grow a business of your own. You can make it unique. You can design it to be fabulous, but you have to get started. I did 13 years ago and I've been loving my work at home life and I just know you will too!
Have a blessed and beautiful day!
